Boarding

Even the most hardworking of us need a break sometimes. But what do you do with your pet when you need to go on vacation?

Here at VCA Asher Animal Hospital, we have boarding services available for both dogs and cats.

Our new cat cages have the ability to expand, with removable partitions to provide your cat additional space or to allow two cats from the same family to board together.

Each of our new dog runs is constructed of stainless-steel, and boarders are provided with a grate and fleece blanket for comfort. The runs are heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer, so your pet can relax in climate controlled-comfort.

Most of the time, our boarding is simply on a walk-in basis. During major holidays such as Christmas or Thanksgiving, you will want to make reservations for your pet, as space is limited and we can easily fill up. Making your reservations two to three months in advance of these holidays is recommended.

We ask is that your pet be current on vaccinations at the time of admission. While we can update your pet's shots at the start of boarding, he or she will not receive full protection for several days, so we do not recommend this. Optimally, vaccinations should be updated two weeks before you plan on boarding.
