Fees & Payment

We understand that good health care can be expensive. We also understand that many clients are working within a budget while trying to do what is best for their pet.

Fees

While we try to give you an accurate estimate of possible charges, we cannot foresee every possibility at the time of admission. For this reason, we try not to estimate more than twenty-four hours in advance. We ask that you call on a daily basis for an update of current charges and any adjustments to the estimated cost.

We encourage you to discuss the estimated fees and treatment options with your doctor, so that you can have a full understanding of the costs involved.

Payments

Hospital policy is payment in full at the time of service. For hospitalized pets, a deposit of 50% of the estimate is typically required.

We accept most major credit cards as well as offering CareCredit©, a credit card that can be used through participating veterinarians and dental offices. We have the applications in-house and, once completed, they can be called in and approved over the phone. The process usually takes less than 15 minutes.

Insurance

The use of medical insurance for pets is growing. Typically, you will pay your bill to the veterinarian in full and submit the paperwork to the insurance company. You are then reimbursed for a portion of the bill, depending upon your policy.

You can visit the Veterinary Pet Insurance, Inc. website for more detailed information.
