Thank you for your interest in VCA Asher Animal Hospital. We have been serving the Redding community and the surrounding area from the same location on Hilltop Drive for over 40 years.

We are open seven days a week with regular business hours Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. We are closed for regular business on most major holidays.

Knowing that emergencies can happen any time, our hospital features an attendant and a doctor on the premises 24-hours a day. If you have an after-hours emergency, please call ahead so that we may be prepared for your arrival.

Care for critical patients is a 24-hour effort and the lights never go out at VCA Asher Animal Hospital.

As pet owners ourselves, we understand the special bond between you and your pets. It is our goal to help you become an informed pet owner and to assist you to the best of our ability in the care of your pet.

To this end, we offer services ranging from spaying, neutering and routine preventive care, to advanced diagnostics and medical therapy, orthopedic surgery and long-term disease management.

We have on-site radiology, ultrasound, and endoscopy equipment as well as a full service laboratory. In addition, we have contacts with a wide range of veterinary specialists to assist our doctors through telemedicine.

And of course, we are always more than happy to board your pet when it is time for the family vacation.

We will make every effort to ensure your visit with us is a pleasant experience for both you and your pet.
