News for 4th Year Veterinary Students

VCA Asher Animal Hospital is a fast-paced full-service nine-doctor small animal practice located in Redding, CA at the northern end of the central valley.

We now offer both extern and internship programs with competitive compensation and benefits. Our staff and facility are outstanding including a GE 500 ultrasound with color-flow Doppler; both rigid and flexible endoscopy equipment; and anesthesia monitoring unit with EKG, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and core body temperature; as well as telemedicine capabilities. We also feature an in-house regional veterinary laboratory staffed by two board-certified medical technologists. Rounds are conducted on a weekly basis with a board certified radiologist and once monthly we offer services from a board-certified ophthalmologist. An internal medicine specialist is a member of our full-time practice team.

Redding, CA is a growing community surrounded by the beauty of Northern California and just a few hours away from many of the Northstate's recreational and touring attractions.
