Todd Green - January 1, 2003:

My name is Todd Green and I am currently a 4th year veterinary student at the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine. I recently had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks with the folks at VCA Asher Animal Hospital completing an externship...and what an experience it was. I enjoyed having the opportunity to work with several different doctors and seeing how to approach cases in different ways. I had the opportunity to assist in surgery, radiology, anesthesia, as well as seeing clients with the doctors on an outpatient basis. The hospital was very well equipped and staffed with a crew of dedicated and competent individuals, making it a great learning environment. VCA Asher is really a quality hospital practicing great medicine, and is definitely the kind of small animal practice I would like to end up in some day.
